“The before and after renovation pictures showcase a remarkable transformation. In the ‘before’ image, the the home appeared outdated and worn, with faded vinyl siding, porch ceiling was dated, old rusted lighting, and worn-out previously painted cement. However, in the ‘after’ picture, the space has been completely revitalized. Fresh coat of paint on the newly installed James Hardie siding along with concrete paint, modern LED recessed wafer lights, new cedar tongue and groove porch ceiling with updated soffit and facia. The transformation is evident in the vibrant colors, sleek design elements, and overall sense of rejuvenation. The before and after pictures stand as a testament to the power of renovation in turning a tired space into an inviting and stylish environment.”
During the Exterior renovation we decide it was a great time to change out the porch ceiling. We tore down the drywall and the vinyl on the porch. Removed the soffit and facia as well.
While the ceiling was opened it was easier the run new wiring for additional wafer soffit light.
Was fortunate enough to score some 30 year old 1x6x8 cedar for free! Was my left over material from my step dad. So he donated it to my project. Amazing enough Home Depot had matching cedar.
As you can see the transformation is night and day. The Porch was repainted, cedar was stained, new wafer lights installed and ring door bell installed. Over all the project was easy yet time consuming lol.
